E21 M20 swap

Post by KennyD »

Hi,

so i recently bought myself a BMW e21 315. my first impression of the car was great. for the 30 years of service it still purrs like a kitten.
unfortunately the idea crossed my mind to put in an M20B23 Engine block (323I) . so i went and purchased a reconditioned block.
as i was made aware there was a part missing from the injector. as i am not a mechanic i do not know the proper term of this part.

maby you guys can hook me up with the proper id number (or a place in europe where i can get this easy)

Looks like an E30 L-Jetronic engine to me, meaning that you need the matching wiring loom and ecu to hook up injectors, sensors, AFM, etc.

If you have the engine no (7 digits) we can look up what the donor car was and advise you on what builds can be used.
