Whilst in the process of restoring my S edition, I've had the head and block dismantled; the heads been rebuilt nice, the block however, has some wear in the bores ;(.
The machine guys have re-honed each, but has said they're slighly worn and may cause issues afterwards. I've read that even a wear of 0.1mm is classed as worn?
Am in a bit of a dilemma now, don't want to rebore and spend an arm and leg, does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this?
Considering searching for another block, maybe a member from the forum has one or whole engine?
Would appreciate any help, the engine has covered only 115k.
