Well I did just buy a new one through eBay but it coming from the US, and have been told that it won't fit, but I can use the internals in mine.

I think that the master cylinder refurb should resolve the fading brake peddle but I'm sure I am still going to have a very heavy brake peddle which will need looking at as well. I just figured that without any spare parts, it's just a case of resolving one issue at a time and I'm sure there were two things going on with my dodgy brakes.

Just use the insides in your RHD cylinder, or make up new pipes. I seem to recall a Porsche 924/944 m/cyl will fit an e21 too.

If it's of any interest, you can get the repair kit directly from BMW, here:

https://shop.bmw-classic.de/is-bin/INTE ... EzD0oEvcX1

101.57 euros, free eu delivery last time I bought from there.

That is a good option, but it is likely that the average brake/friction specialist can get you this kit for a lot less.

Just checked with the main dealer - £80 & change. Seems expensive for a few rubber washers.

Any suggestions for an alternative ?
