Rear wheelhousing

Post by Mihajlo »

Hello!
I'm planning to buy rear wheelhousing from www.wallothnesch.com P/N: A41000321041 and A41000321042 but I'm not sure if they are any good..
I asked for OEM parts at main BMW dealer here in Croatia but they sait it is NLA.

If you have some advices, please let me know.

:thnx

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

That's a horrible quality! :shock Is that the same number as the first poster mentioned??

Please don't use the repairsheet metal because the actuall trouble still remains in the car. The complete wheelhousing with the mounting for the shockabsorber are according to BMW classicteile still available at the dealer for 245 euro's each.

I was the first poster..
Yes, numbers are the same.
I will see what will I do with them... and, unfortunately, I do not have 245 euros for OEM part.

Many members have reported quality issues with WN parts recently so be warned indeed. And with a whole variety of parts, not just sheet metal. Alternators, chrome, rubber parts like flex discs, etc.

I bought a heater motor from them and it's been working almost a year so far, but seeing stuff like this makes me fear it'll break again soon :(

It looks like they forgot to quality inspect their products.
Or like their machines don't have enough pressure to apply when stamping....

I suppose you reported this to them? What was their response? And then what was done?

crash is mildly said, looks like a big angry dog got it, or it was a E24 wheel housing and lost a lot of weight? so its wrinkled? joke aside, return would be the only option with me too.

what about their sideskirts and front valances? When I see this pics, I kinda dont want to buy anything more from them.

I bought/ordered them over 3rd person...
and returning them would be just more expense to me. :(
I guess I had to learn it hard way.

And how sure are you the 3rd person did send you the WN items, and without tampering with them?

Because he ordered one pair for himself and got the same as I got.
But, he fitted his pair nevertheless and sold the "mint condition" car... :stupidme
