where are you buying your parts these days?

Post by e21mad »

Hi guys. Can't sell the baur as it is and I just can't part it out its too clean. Soooo....Im gonna finish it. I have seen posts here lately that moan about walloth and nesch and since the phone call I just made told me they have quadroupled the price of piston rings since I last priced them, I was wondering where you guys are buying bits like rings bearings, engine gasket sets and such. Oh and don't bother typing fritz, I know how over priced he is.

I've used C3BMW before for bearings and piston rings. They can supply OEM quality parts.

You could also try the local Main Dealer, Broad Oak in Canterbury have always been pretty good to me (used to be Ron, but I think he is now retired).

C3 in London?wow haven't heard that name in 10 years. Forgot about him. Yeah I bought the roof from broad oak but I was hoping not to pay dealer prices. Cheers for that though.

Hmmm their range starts with the E30 according to their website, and they sell Meyle which is the worst rubbish I've encountered all my life. No pro's haha!

BTW we have this thread... Where to get E21 parts - the bmwe21.net directory

Well I posted this is the topic where the most questions about addresses were asked which funnily was the FS section. But I'll add a few posts in other sections to make the thread easier to find... good for the next guy!

I see now why I missed it. I have been away for awhile and im using my phone now to log in. My screen is collapsing the stickies into one tab so I over looked it....just thought it was one topic not several. My bad entirely.

Just email Simon at C3 directly (the website doesn't cover half of what they can supply) - enquiries@c3bmw.co.uk

He's helpful and can get parts quickly.
