People all tell us that for a few K you have any car in a good condition again but this is exactly what happend and it will alwys take more time and money than you initially thought.

TRUE...but...there is no such thing as a classic car with nothing left to do and it is very easy to think that what you see as a bad thing really is. I'm saying you can go over board...not that the car NEEDED more than I said. I could just leave it and nobody would notice. Like I said...im sick and even the smallest scratch is too much lol.

Yesterday night I did a 360 in the baur while coming of a round about, it was raining.
I applied the brakes , kept spinning and then reached for the handbrake.
That stopped me in my tracks....
I was bricking it but after it happenned i wanted to try and do it on purpose.

I like RWD's

Changed rotors and pads. Found out I need new piston dust boots. As stated above, there's always something left to do...

In that case you may want to overhaul the brake calipers completely, you need the rebuild kit anyway and it will improve your stopping power dramatically.

Oh yeah, I intend to do that. While I'm at it might as well do the whole thing. May even powder coat the calipers, the original paint on them is very tired.Jeroen wrote:In that case you may want to overhaul the brake calipers completely, you need the rebuild kit anyway and it will improve your stopping power dramatically.
