I've met up with Harley and had no problems. bought a gearbox and other various bits.
He was happy to show me his e21 and went to the extent of taking out the roll cage to satisfy my curiosity.

I would happily buy from Harley again.
Just another point of view.

I wrote a song about this thread

Today i wrote a thread to get something off my chest
Lover, you should've come over
It was a dark and dangerous looking place
I was wrong, see I never meant to be

Chorus:
I dont think i could sell stuff again
Sweet lover, you should've come over
I bought some bbs center caps thinking they wpuld fit.
It's hard to understand

Verse Two:
You didnt send my fishnets and now your black listed from buying my gorgeous bits
How could a person like you bring me joy?
I was happy wheeling and dealing buying bits and selling them for 5 pounds more
How can I put it?

Chorus:
I dont think i could sell stuff again
Sweet lover, you should've come over
I bought some bbs center caps thinking they wpuld fit.
It's hard to understand

So if I understand correctly harleytrike, you had a deal on the headrests, you even had two sets, and now you decided not to stick to this deal? That is NOT acceptable at all.

The centre cap pictures you have uploaded Mobster are 110% from 14" bbs alloys I know as I have both 14 and 15" caps, easiest way to tell difference is the small triangular sections on metal outer part of cap, The 15" is more of a house/roof shape and 14" is triangular (not sure if that makes sense) lol

On plus side the centre locking part will work all you need is the outer metal section of caps now or just find the correct caps.

Omg Nas, Graham told me about your song and that's the only reason I'm here, please never leave this forum. As a musician and car lover that has made my day, but yes I too would love to know the tune... Or maybe I'll add my own :D

These are clearly 14" centre caps that fit 14" wheels. You would need a magic wand to fit them onto 15" wheels :D

You criticise the zone but they take action against bad sellers, they get a bad seller status or banned. Here, it seems fine to mis sell and get away with it. :whistle

Well, almost, as there are always 2 sides to every story. And I think it is only fair to give parties the opportunity to settle things. Not settling means you're gone. Gladly we only had to do that twice the past 10 years. That also tells you something about how people treat each other here. But if you don't feel good about that have fun on the zone lol

To bad shit like this happens. Two parties agree on some thing and in one case one party doesn't deliver and in another case the buyer doesn't get what het tought he had bought. Then , when confronted, the seller in both transactions doesn't clear up the mess he made. Imo, it's very simple, just tranfer the money and send the caps back, or just meet up. Busy my ass, if you want to get this over with, you find time. In the other case, just not selling anymore, because of beeing called names, after not delivering, is the easy, but bad way out. Make a deal and stick with it.

Regarind the Zone: This forum is NOTHING like the zone, apart from these to matters, the people here are much nicer, much more helpfull and they now a shitload more on classic Bimmers, especially on the E21. I like it here. Imho Jeroen is always fair, not just taking sides on the first step. He just wants to get the story straight and thats the way is should be.

My advice to Harleytrike: quit whining, get over it and make these two matter in order.

He is not going to put it right because according to him, he hasn't done anything wrong. He still thinks he has sold me caps for 15" wheels. The first step is to accept you have mis sold something and then quickly put a resolution together. We are still struggling with the former here. In all honesty, I don't really care anymore and in some respects, I should not have posted it on here and just forgot about the whole saga.
