sourcing 323i discs for volvo conversion.

Post by grungeisdead »

Hey up all.

Finally got round to fitting my new coilies and refurbish a set of volvo 4 pots for retro fitting for a 316.

I need to source the disks and am having trouble, I've been sent e30 323i discs instead which don't have the 70mm overall height required ( as the e21 disc has what is akin to a spacer built in to the disc)

I have tried to get hold of apec dsk 130 discs as they have all the correct dimensions but the supplier has stated the manufacturer has stopped production.

Any help would be greatly appreciated even if you have a good used or new set tucked about. Would be nice to get it back on the road :)

Thanks Saf

If not Wallothnesch do sell them, even drilled ones, but they are a little expensive I guess.

Thanks Nas tried brakes international - same story.

Will try Walloch and drop them a message. Cost isn't an issue now, as I've already refurbished and rebuilt the calipers it would be annoying to sell the bits and get another kit

Yep they have them in stock, both standard and drilled with TUV coating (although the photo doesn't show it they are coated as I bought them for my Wilwoods).

Standard http://www.wallothnesch.com/bremsscheib ... 01-03.html

Drilled with TUV http://www.wallothnesch.com/bremsscheib ... 01-13.html

Prices are per disc, enjoy your new brakes. :driving
