Does/has anyone been brave enough to use the factory jack?
Im too scared!
So what do you carry instead?
At home its easy as has a good trolley jack but what about in emergency?

Factory jacks scare me too. I carry a small scissor jack and only use it on the subframes

They're ok to use, as long as you make sure its straight... and that is tricky sometimes. Best would be to have an aluminum garage jack in the trunk :roll:

I've got an all alloy trolley jack.

i've found the factory jacks are intolerant of anything but the levellest of ground and loads :-S
