I imagine that the lack of use has caused some serious problems with my fan / blower ... it has always been a bit little squeaky at times but it sounds serious now.
Are these rebuild-able or has anyone attempted it? I searched the forum, some posts about lubricating it, but I think mine is beyond that...

Re: heater blower fan
If it's beyond lubricant then the motor could well need replacing. My car had been standing for years before I got it and the heater motor wouldn't even turn without using grips. I had a spare however. If it's still working do lubricate it before it seizes like mine did as replacements are costly where I've looked.
Re: heater blower fan
ok ill give it a go, but it did sound like it was ready to jump out the scuttle and leave the car. in fact it was so loud i thought pistons had met valves LOL

I personally use cv or all purpose grease but that spray grease could work well too. Just put on a pair of gloves.
