Which Glass ? (Windscreen)

May seem like a stupid question but is there a way of finding out which glass my car has ?

From what i can see it looks just standard clear but i know you can get bronze / green , I just want to make sure before ordering

Its an A reg 1983 316 (1.8 carb)

Use a big sheet of white paper, half of it behind the windscreen, half of it sticking out the open door. Then you should be able to see a clear difference, or hardly any at all.

My Y reg 316 has bronze tint. If you take the last 7 digits of your chassis number to your local BMW dealer they can provide a build spec which should tell you all bout the factory glass

Where can you order a screen from as I can only find green tint and need a bronze now thanks in advance

W+N or the dealership? Glass you should be able to get from Fritz Bits. That's where I got my last bronze side window from.
