Great trip. Would love to do something like this myself.
Not on ural, dneprs or any of the ussr bikes, they were crap even when new. Everyone who ever had one swears they spent more time fixing them than actualy driving, lol.

I know - I know , But I did just spend 8.5 hours last week replacing my starter in my 81 320i. After spending time over three months trying to get it to run and pass smog - which :boogie :boogie :boogie :crazy It did! :driving

So I now have a running E21 to drive again as the 80iS has a cracked head again as of three months ago. :(

Not having an E21 to drive for three months was bad.
Not the fastest - but always fun to drive.

ON TOPIC - Just got off of Skype with the kids, they have changed plans and are now going to head to the tip of South America through Chili and do Argentina in August of next year.

Must be nice!
