bumper mods

Post by engrrick »

Back in the 70's the US Govment mandated 5 mph bumpers, and the results were ugly. Has anyone successfully compressed the bumper shocks to bring the front and rear bumpers back closer to the body, and what else did you do. Pictures would be nice. Send any suggestions to rjkoch65@yahoo.com. Thanks.

I think you can drill holes in the bumper shocks and ease the whole thing back a couple of inches.
Most try and find euro bumpers though

Yes, getting Euro units would be easier, but may be difficult finding in US. Can you direct me to site in Eurpoe that can ship here?
