Hi all,
My 316 has been taking a bit of cranking to get started over the last few weeks. Today it took almost 10 seconds so I decided I better do some imvestigating...
Looks like the rubber damper/seal between the manifold and the carburettor (weber 32/34) is slightly perished on one side and has split.
Assuming this may be something related to the starting problem, I'd like to get it replaced. However, my vauge search terms on ebay have found nothing, so what is it called and where can I get one?!
Thanks a lot in advance,
Dan.

Ah its a good feeling when you actually work something out for yourself!
BMW ref: 13 11 1 273 911 - Carburettor Flange
And there is a seller on ebay who has them for ~£20, happy days....

The partnumber is the flange for the solex 2B4 carb. Do you use the same flange for a weber conversion???
