Head Light Wash Wipe

Hi I've picked up a complete E21 wash/wipe set up but just wanted to know if the wiper stalk on steering column is generic to both non and wiper cars or if i need that to, regards Graham

Iirc the stalk is exactly the same, only operate the washer of you're normal wipers and the lights should be turned on.

Thanks thats great i stripped everything and most is plug an play except twin washer motor which piggy backs off the windscreen washer power
