Hi guys,
i have a few messages that i sent that are 'stuck' in my outbox.
Any idea as to why these are not being sent?

I think the people you sent them to haven't read them yet. As the messages have been seen/read, they will move from your outbox.

That is correct. What you see is not a mail server so it is not like e-mail is nit being sent.
A message you send will move to the outbox until it is read. It then moves to your sent items.
