BBS Question

Post by Curly »

Can someone tell me if I can buy new or s/h a 15" BBS or Mahle type wheel with the correct et of 13 to 18 that will fit E21 323i without spacers .

Do they exist and if so what am I looking for , and where can I get some .

I have read the bit about wheels in the tech section so I know what I don't want , ie E30 basketweaves as they have the wrong et otherwise I would buy some .

If I have missed the info I need please post a link

Cheers

hi, if you want I have a set of Compomotive 14" split rims that fit perfectly without spacers to the e21. not sure on width and offset but looks very close to et13 and about 6J, have 4 brand new tyres 195/60R14. will sell for £700 + postage

They are 15x7.5 up front soon to be 15x8 and 15x9 rear there just bbs rm wheels with wider lips I only use 15 mm spacer upfront with slightly longer bolts which were supplied with the kit, drives great! You can use a 10 mm spacer up front aswel I believe if you wanted less, but bbs rm wheels on e21 need spacers up front

Yeah I also went by the buying guide like you, but seems that you are much more free than I thought.

My 318 came on 17x8 ET 27 BBS replicas with 10mm spacers on the rear wheels, and on 60/40 lowering springs - and I didn't notice any fitment trouble.

Maybe the information in the guide need a little more detail.
