Hey Guys,
I developed these motor mounts for a guy. He wanted to swap his M10 for a M20 but, the 6 cylinder sub-frame was to much money and the arms were not available anyway. I came up with a solution that eliminated the need for both the sub-frame and the arms. The M10 sub frame needs about a ten minute modification involving drilling two holes and cutting off a bit of the left engine mount pad. Which all can be done from the top side with the engine removed that means NO sub-frame removal required.
Let me know what you think. Is there a need?

Re: M20 motor mounts
Pictures would be very interesting, but I guess if you want to sell them... M50 / M52 conversions normally use E21 M20 arms with an M20 subframe, so this is very interesting.

Here you go.

So not an over whelming response.
Any chance we can get some sort of group buy going?

haha, well over here in Europe M20 subframes aren't really rare so perhaps that explains it, but on the other hand this is less work and looks like good quality stuff! And perhaps some viewers from the US?

Re: M20 motor mounts
I am in the early phase of planning an M52 conversion for my 316.
This looks like both the answer to my question and the solution to the problem.
Any other reasons one would want M20 subframe?
