Evening All,
My starter doesn't always engage (sticky bendix??) and i've been advised that replacing it is the best thing to do (over taking apart and re-greasing).
However I am having difficulty finding a new one. Does this fit:
WOSP Starter
It says in the description it is for Ford Duractec engines but demontweeks returns it as a search results when I put my car in.
If it does fit, which type do I need (104, 112 or 114 tooth/6mm offset?) - My car is a 1983 316
Any advice on where else to get a starter would be much appreciated (and not BMW, they want £450 if I give them mine back!!)
Thanks,
Mark

You could just have yours refurbished, at least you'll know it's the right one.

Or just rebuild yours with a kit. Tutorials on youtube.
