You know what broadie777, no joke i prefer your look in the engine then that pile of shit with badges everywhere of alpina and bmw, its like the guy who owns the car has some serious case of amnesia and has to remind himself every few mins or so to what car he has, and if i remeber rightly, this car was a feature in bmw magazine last year sometime and the article was about his car that he didnt even know it was an original alpina... and aparently he said it was.... now thats full of shit, cos, alpina made the C1 with injection not weber 45s unless it was for track use or a 2002/kugelfischer injection, and also a picture was shown from the back of the car and you can clearly see the differential was not alpina (larg finned cased) and the exhauast bent around the boot and not over the subframes as how they are suppose to be.. and one other thing the alpina plaque was from an E30 and the lettering was totalling wrong... so the owner of the car is confused to what the car ir, not only i was saying this but a few guys saw the car and met the guy and his father and apparently confronted the guy with questions with what i mentioned above and he didnt enev answer the question and went red in the face....

I mean if your gonna make an exact replica then it has to be identicle regadless, not all that aluminuim crap pipe work the guy has.,,., so id rather settle for the mean nitty gritty rough look....... also broadie you know what ill do, id rip your carb off and stick a good ole` twin 40`s large jet with with trumpets, ITG or K&N filters, sure make your car sound sweet on high revs,.... and a nice 4 branch manny and your laughing,,

I wonder why he has a K&N sticker in the engine bay when he doesn't even have air filters.

Rubber hoses look soooo much better than braided metal hoses

If i had a scanner, i would scan the article and you would all laugh to the crap he was feeding the editor about his new found alpina with carburettors and an original differential and exhaustsystem with the E30 typenschild (name plaque with completely wrong wording) i will make the way to find someone to scan it for me you really must see it and read it... he has full cream leathers with alpina badges all over it and even the steering wheel is NOT an alpina BUT he is going around bitching to people thinking that they dont know what a real alpina looks like.... that silly f*** needs to be shot... if you see what he looks like you seriously would give him a kickin`

Maybe KAM has a copy of the bmw mag with this W----R in it

I meet the owner of that "C1" at the beemfest at santa pod last september, and what can I say...

I think he's a bit of a chav, think he got lost when going to buy a maxed out E30 325 and ended up buying a clean E21 323!!! There are some nice things on the car but he's gone way over the top with it. Plus when you talk to him he's a bit like my alpina this, my alpina that.

Not good, I walked off and left him with his pops...

As for stainless braided pipes, They look good when they are the right ones with the anodised fitting, not the fake overbraide clamp on ones like in that engine bay.
The way forward is sideways....

In an article he said he resprayed his car from bare metal and he done this and that and rebuilt that and this. I think someone took an airline and a spraygun witch some serious watery shit and got his dad and shoved it up his arse and saud "Dad! go ahead and press the lever, fill me dad, fill me up" so now he is full of shit... hey butternut, did you see any seeping from his ears? eyes, mouth? i really want to get the article scanned.... yall must see what this guy was on.. he was trippin` phsycodelic style with all those colours in the engine bay.....

I prefer to keep the engine bay look sweet clean and normall but not over the top, with badges of alpina and bmw stuck over here and there to remindyour self what car it is... Prrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttttt

I tell you what id love for him to become a member on here, id make him feel that all that shit in him, he would shove his head up his arse...
