Washer Bottle Location

Hi all

This might be a stupid question, let's see

I've seen in other peoples photos, that their washer bottle (screen wash) is located on the offside (uk drivers side, right) wing, and it's a square bottle... whereas mine is located on the other side, lower down towards the steering rack etc. and is a slightly more rounder bottle.

So I'm wondering if:

- that's just a uk/euro/us variance

or

- perhaps cars with power steering need to locate the fluid reservoir in the space where my washer bottle is, hence the alternate space on the right.

My car has the brackets for the right hand side bottle, and I'm about to install PAS, so I'm wondering do I need to relocate the bottle?

I was wondering same thing as mine is on left wing but when i fit m52 i think il have to relocate so was looking at fitting the one on right wing behind headlamp

LHD and RHD cars have the washer bottle on opposite sides.

The area on the wing where it goes on LHD cars is taken up by the brake booster on RHD cars.

Hmm, okay well what is the bottle on the wing in this photo?:

This is a lhd car as you can tell, but to me that bottle looks like a washer bottle. I've seen several pictures with this setup...

Here's another one... And here I can see that brake servo is where my washer bottle is, so it must be a LHD / RHD thing. I can also see that this car has the PAS fluid reservoir at the front left by fuse box, which is helpful for me and the PAS installation
