Windscreen seal and chrome trim

Post by jimbob »

I had autoglass fit my screens the other day and the rear went in fine.
The front on the other hand wouldnt fit correctly and they ended up splitting the seal.
Its kind of twisted at the bottom left corner.
has anyone had any problems similar with new rubbers or maybe a problem with the chrome strip?
i got both parts from w&n would i be better of going for the dealer ones?

Thanks , looks like a couple of people have had an issue withe the strip and the rubber,
Looks like the solution is to source these parts from bmw.
I think i will put a thread in the sellers feedback section with what cant be bought from w&n
Without issue.

I put a new chrome strip in my front screen just today.

The rubber seal is from W&N and the chrome strip from BMW, only £37 including the clip at the bottom and it all went in fine although a difficult job!

How much do W&N charge for the rubbers?
