My car has been sitting cold for a few weeks on axle stands while I was waiting for the suspension to come back from Gaz. I haven't been here to start it every other day unfortunately.
I started it today, let it run until the temperature was upto just below half way and seemed fine.
All of a suden the car starts coughing and cuts out.
Is this something to worry about or any certain areas I should be looking at or could it just be because it hasn't been warmed up for a while?
Thanks in advance
Paul

Re: Engine cut out
Did the problem go away? If not, you've got something going on.

Re: Engine cut out
Sounds funny indeed! But if you're not using the car, why start it that often? Usually during the winter months I hardly start the car, or perhaps once every couple of months.

Re: Engine cut out
Just thought would be a good idea to start it and let it tick over for a while once a week really. Suspensions should be finished by Sunday anyway so going to give it a good run and if the problem continues I'll have to have a dig and see what might be causing it.
