Bonnet hinge springs

Hi all. Does anyone have a picture of how the springs fit on the bonnet hinges that they could post up please ? I've obviously got mine wrong, and the bonnet tried to bite my fingers off !!

Thanks. It's the spring on the hinge part I've got wrong. The ends are hooked over the uprights where the hinges bolt to the slam panel

ah you mean the spring inside the tube.

It is the springs in the tube. Just haven't figured out where they locate.
Having now painted the car, I'm wary of damaging my new paintwork too

I'm missing a bit each side ! The part that locates the spring each side. I'll need to root around in the boxes. No wonder Ive been struggling !

I picked up my new spring retainers ( 41611823020 )from my dealer today. Delivered from Germany in 3 days. Total cost £2.40. Thats good for a Monday morning smile !
