I'm having issues with the dash board signal.
When I indicate the lifts outside flash and so do the hazard light switch, but the indicator light in the speedo unit isn't.
Does anyone know if it's hard to remove to replace the bulb?

Is the speedo screwed in, or does it pop out?uwbuurman wrote:No, just take out the whole speedo/rev unit. Bulbs are fitted on the backside

No, it will not pop out easily. First, you have to remove the lower cover of the dashboard. You have to take a look behind the instrument cluster. Look for one or two big aluminium nuts left and right. They fix the cluster from behind. You can remove them by hand. Then you have to loosen the speedo cable, pull the cluster a little bit carefully for this purpose. When the speedo cable is off, you can pull off the electrical cables, if more space is needed. This should be enough for a bulb change. If you want to take out the cluster completely, it is recommended to take off the steering wheel.

Useful write up, too, thanks for that E21-driver! Beware not to damage the cluster's screen (I always use a piece of cloth). And releasing the speedo cable can be a pain as there isn't much room. Think we could do with pictures to support this and make a nice how-to on removing the cluster, I'll give that a try the next time the cluster has to come out.
