Sport Steering wheel

Is there any difference between the pre facelift BMW Sport Steering Wheel and the facelift BMW Sport Steering Wheel ?

I see some with metal spokes and some with the same material on the spokes like on the Rim. Is the one with metal spokes in the middle perhaps fom the BMW 02 ?

Is it plastic or leather.

Well as far as I know these are just different designs, pick the design you like. The one with the bare metal spokes were used in the 02 but I believe on the early E21's as well. But there is a difference, the E21 wheel needs the notch at the back for the auto return function of the indicator. I believe the 02 wheel doesn't have this.

Thanks Jeroen ! The one for the 02 the material was not leather, it was like plastic. The later Steering wheels, was this the same material, or was it in real leather (the Rim).
