New radiator or not?

Post by E21noob »

A box new orginal BMW radiator came up for sale locally to me. Prices are sky high new from BMW, so thinking about getting it just in case.

But, before I do, anyone care to share any light on whether it is likely I will need a new radiator or not?

Do these often fail and need replacing?

Appreciate your input.

Usually they last a long time so if yours looks fresh, does not have any heavily corroded parts inside or outside, it may last 10 more years. But hey you can be unlucky and get a pebble through your front grill two times in one week eating two radiators... you never can tell!
