Hi All,
I've recently gotten some new wheels, 7" et20 15" and 8" et0 15".
The fronts I'm not too worried about, perhaps a 20mm spacer and 195 tyres.
The rears I'm thinking of 205/45/15 tyres, but before I order these, has anyone any experience? I'm concerned the low offset will cause rubbing, I don't mind a little stretch but I don't want a lot or to require really low profile tyres.
The car is lowered approx 60mm with no camber adjustments.
Thanks,
Joe

Hi Joe.
The setup you are describing will rub on the front. I have 8x15 ET0 with 205/50 on mine and needed to modify the front wings. Also lowering is a bad combination here. You will need to roll your flares.

Hi Ruh,
Thanks for the reply.
The 8" et0 are for the rears only.
I have some more manageable 7" wheels for the front!

With you 7" et20 fronts, you want to try and match the standard offset of et13. Easiest would be just 10mm spacers although hubcentric becomes an issue with these.
If you use 20mm then you will start getting close to the front wing in front at the bumper area and they may foul.

Ah ok, that's the fronts sorted then.
Anyone have an opinion on the rear tyre size?
Will 205 be very stretched on an 8" wheel?

205/50 will not result in stretch at all on an 8" wheel. Lower profile setup might. There is a great place for seeing how it will look : tyrestretch.co.uk i think it is..
