Bit more progress:
Got the fuel system sorted in the boot, approx. 80l tank. Hopefully should last more than an hour on track.

Tried the new wheels and slicks, will they fit ????

Yes they will
just

and the fronts:

Been sorting the dash out, stole Mark's idea for the guages in the centre:

Bright lights
on dipped beam:

Put on the badges:

Started fitting the perspex and glass, new rubbers & chrome:

Sorted out the Zender front spoiler:

Had an issue to sort on the fuel rail (pinhole needed TIG'ing up):

All finished under the bonnet now
And loaded up ready for the Exhaust shop tomorrow:

Cheers
Ben

Is it going on out new and improved powerbank on the Sharknosemeeting?

I can't wait to get it on the road, had a little potter around today with manifolds but no exhaust, she really snarls.uwbuurman wrote:Oh man. Thats one beast to be born! Great project! I can only imagine how it will fly on the open road!

I've got a mapping session booked before SN so she will be running well but no need to get it on the rollers again.
Only changes really are exhaust and injectors from last year. I'm sure we can fire it up at some point

I agree with the squares, its the combination that works. squares with no spoiler or the BBS and bumper doesn't quite look right.
For me this is spot on. Just need to add a lower splitter before getting on track.

Anyway, small update, the exhaust is finished twin 2.5" throughout with oval side exits.
Large rear view mirror and wing mirrors fitted, all ready for the remapping session tomorrow:
