speedometer cable when M30

Hi guys

I need a longer speedometer cable for my m30 swap, original 315 cable is missing about 40cm. What is the longest cable provided for the e21(i'm guessing 323i with 5 speed)?
Does anyone know what cable the Alpina b6 used since that one had m30 and g265 wich is the same setup I have, should I maybe be looking at buying a cable from e3/9/12/24 ? If you guys know something about ths matter please fill me in, cheers.

rhd speedometer cables are longer and have a 30cm extension behind the clocks....maybe too long !. I will see if i have one i can measure to compare ...edd
