Diffs

Post by healeyneil »

Hi. I cant find what diff ratio mine has. It was a 320 auto. The specs pages only seem to have spec for manuals. I think I read somewhere its 4.1 to 1. Anyway, Its now revving too high for comfort ( but it accelerates very nicely )
Is it true that the crownwheel and pinion from 3series up to the E36 will fit ?
Alternatively, anyone fancy a swap ? Im not looking for an LSD, open is fine.
Thanks, Neil

E21's came with the same diff ratio no matter manual or auto.

As per the specs pages or the topics on diff ratios you'll find using the search functionality
