Outdoor Car Cover Recommendation?
Can anyone recommend an outdoor car cover? My e21 rebuild is taking up all the space in my garage so my e30 needs to stay outside
. I really need something quite heavy duty and preferably cat proof!

Re: Outdoor Car Cover Recommendation?
Just ordered something from a local supplier that is said to be HD, water proof, with soft fleece inner lining blablabla. Will let you know once its in, was 85 euros. Anything cheaper than that probably isn't much better than a sheet of plastic and hardly offering protection.

I like the sound of the fleece lining, would protect against scratches. I may be in the market for such a cover myself too!

I was looking at the Moltex but it's £170!
I've bought cheap ones but they generally last only a few months, blow off in the wind and the local cats destroy them!

Re: Outdoor Car Cover Recommendation?
OK I ordered from this shop that appears to have websites only in Dutch and German www.autohoezenonline.nl
What I had delivered is a grey sedan cover in medium size which is a tight fit just over the bumpers of an E21 or E30, if you want it slightly longer go for the large version. Outside is weather resistant material, all seams are made double and covered with some kind of stuff to make sure it keeps the water out. The inside is fleece indeed, the entire cover is heavyyyy, just under 10 kilos!
To me this is perhaps not a perfect fit (its not tailered on any BMW) but it offers good protection against humidity and scratches unless the average thin cover that isn't much more than a plastic bag.
Price is EUR 82.50 for the M or EUR 84.89 for the L, add 14.50 for international shipping for most European countries (not sure about the UK though). Payment through PayPal is possible but against a slight surcharge.

Thanks Jeroen, I have sent a message asking if they will ship to the UK?
Re: Outdoor Car Cover Recommendation?
They didn't reply so I'm assuming that means they won't ship to the UK.
Does anyone else have a recommendation for me please?

Well, on their site they have an international phonenumber, I suggest calling that.
Or else we should be able to work something out, like me ordening it and shipping it to you, or something like that.

Thanks for the offer but they didn't reply to my email so I ordered something off eBay, I'll let you know what it's like when it arrives.

A few quick pics of the paint job, hope I've posted them properly!
I was lucky enough to start with a rust free shell, so no schutz on the rear wheel wells or anywhere else it shouldn't be. The colour is Baltic blue
