Rear Wheel Well Question?

Post by e21Keith »

I went to the Classic Car Show at the NEC last weekend where I spied a low mileage e21 for sale by a dealer. It was quite funny listening to the salesman who was dazzling an interested party with his outstanding knowledge of e21s and how the front strut mounts and the bottom of the doors rot out terribly!

Anyway, I looked in the boot and it was all stonechipped. my 'e21 isn't and never was stonechipped, I'm wondering if this was ever a factory finish, certainly wasn't in '82!

It was a late one at the NEC. Not quite as unmolested as they would have had you believe

Always nice fairytales from owners, dealer and sellers haha

The Baur dates from 5/81 and only has the wheel houses stonechipped
