Once the loom was in place, I started on the booth. Rubber plugs back in place.

Large toolkit back in.

The foam back in.

My precious Alpina Reifendrück sticker back in

And the electrical antenna installed

The gascap back in place, I don’t like the way that it seems to sit tom much ofcenter. I have two more adjustingplates, but the are at the zincplater.

Booth done, so onwards to the front. I recently bought a as good as new parcelshelf, that I fitted!

To bad it doesn’t sit high enough to coverup the 2 tears in the roofliner.

Than I got my old shelf, and it turns out tob e a very decent one alwell. So I am going to use that one instead of cutting up the new one for speakers and headrests.

Stuff for the headrests

And mounted

I got the original plugs, which hold the shelf in place. Works like a charm.

Original speaker with original spacer

Seatbelts back in.

Insulation mats and doorcards installed.

And then the backseat and headrests. Suddenly it starts to become a car again!

Cables in place

And the rest of the insulation installed.

I had to change the carpet form y e21. The one that came with the car was a type 2 and heavily faded colour. So I god a type 1 carpet, that was very, very dirty. So I cleand it. I started with a good vacuum and used the aircompressor to blow the sand out.

Leftside done, right not

Completely done.

Some stains.

So I used the extractor.

Filled with hot water and soap, so you can flush and rinse at the same time. The light spot is done, the rest not.

You see the dir tand foam getting extracted.

This is the water after some work.

And this stays behind.

All in all I have a very clean carpet!!!

It needs some toime to dry, I had it out overnight to dry.

And the rear seat also.

In the meanwhile I disassembled the bumpers. They are to ugly to place back like this, so I have to see what I will do about that.

For the addicts amongst you: The front corners. Original is with the little hole out, imitation hasn’t have that.
