Hi Guy's,
I'm rebuilding the engine on my 79 323i.
Due to engine wear I need to go up to the next size piston, but can't seem to find them anywhere.
Any ideas where I can get them?

Re: Oversize Pistons
Should be able to find that in any application derived from ETK, like realoem.com or bmw fans.info, or at BMW Classic.
This is what I found for the 323i:
79,98MM("0")
80,06MM("00")
80,23MM(+0,25)
80,48MM(+0,50)

80,06MM("00")

I guess, Jeroen, that he needs to find the pistons, so where to buy. I think you can find them at the dealers.

You could be right haha! Well who supplied these? KS, Mahle? Can't be these are that hard to find?

Re: Oversize Pistons
this is from where I got mine while rebuilding my m20b23 engine. just be careful that the raised top pistons are 9.5 CR instead of the 9.0 CR of the flat top pistons. while they are fully interchangable and give a slight increase in power, just be careful cause you will have to run 98+ octane fuel with the raised top 9.5CR pistons compared to the 95+ octane usable on the flat top pistons.
