My rear seat belts don't retract with the roof down, they just jam in place.
They're fine, if a little slow, with the roof up.
A while ago Haleyneill mentioned a rear belt guide that could be fitted to the mounting point and sits over the top of the back seat. He lent me one to try and it pretty much solved the problem.
Can anyone enlighten me on these guides? I've been searching for ages for info on them. I can't find them anywhere on the net, and they don't appear to be in any of the parts lists - W&N, BMW itself etc.
I'd really like to pick up a pair if anyone has some, I do gather they break quite easily, but if they're complete and could be repaired I'd still be interested.
Thanks
Al

Re: Baur seatbelt guides.
Those guides are just for Baurs, but they are almost always broken, so I think there aren't many left.

Re: Baur seatbelt guides.
Yup, these guide the belts underneath the soft top when its down otherwise it would rub the softtop. Noticed they're not in ETK but they should be in the Baur parts catalog, but I don't have that on hand at the moment. Quite sure these are NLA for ages and used examples are rare and brittle. I'll ask around if there are a few used ones within the Dutch community.
