My 1981 RHD 316 has a cracked exhaust manifold.
After recently doing the head gasket and having the manifold off and back on it sounds worse now.
I can replace it with a second hand unit (if I can find one) but is there a better alternative?
My M10 is a 1.8 carbed motor and from what I read there is not a huge horsepower to be gained by modding the exhaust. FritzBits has an aftermarket one (I am not sure it will even fit my head) - http://www.fritzsbits.co.uk/exhausts-ma ... set-detail
And I think its pricey.
Do I have an alternative to the oem manifold?
Thanks for any advice.
