Hi,
anyone know if there are various E21s (4 cyl, 6 cyl, pre facelift/after facelift) diff gear ratios? Are there different diffs for different engines/year models and in that case what cars have what ratios?

Ever heard of that funny website bmwe21.net? Lots of specs there like for pre facelift http://www.bmwe21.net/?page_id=295 and facelift http://www.bmwe21.net/?page_id=282 including diff ratios. Final drive is independent of the gearbox fitted.

was only searching in the forums though but the "normal" website is absolutely great i have now learned..Always thankful for y'alls knowledge and help! (So far I guess I´ll get more help then being able to help out my self..so far)
