Hi and a warm welcome to you, Mathias!! Alsways great to meet an new member and E21 enthusiast online! Do you have some pics of that green 323i? The chairman of this forum has a ZypressengrUn 323i aswell, or so he claims, no one has ever seen it haha.
On a more serious level: with these old cars you are almost bound to get colour difference when you swap bodywork. My suggestion: just get a rustfree bonnet from le bon Coin, and have it painted to match not only colour, but also the teint of your car.
