Replace front wings with aftermarket parts.

Post by Atle_323i »

Can anyone tell me if the aftermarket front wings does fit ok, compared to the originals from BMW?
Are there different brand on the aftermaket ones, or do they all come from the same manufactor?

Thanks.

I like the OEM BMW the beat. There are some good aftermarket ones out there, but also pretty crappy ones.

So, in my mind the best option is to obtain a pair of genuine BMW ones.

I only hope the aftermarket wings for the e21 are better than those currently made for the e30, the one I just bought is the worst I have ever seen?

There is a wide variety of qualities available when it comes to aftermarket stuff, and that incldes the metalwork. Some really don't fit and some are very rust sensitive. When still available I would definitely prefer OEM parts.

Ok, so what you all is saying, go for original BMW. I don´t know what brand Wallothnesch is selling, but they are very cheap compared to the genuine BMW wings. It´s time to start saving money for new ones, and drop the aftermarket wings.
Money flying out of my pocket at the moment, way more rust on my car than I thought
