New member from Australia. E21 323i

Post by ace_homer »

HI everybody!
Well here she is, my first E21 323i.
Not much to look at now but stay tuned as i've alot lot of work to do. This weekend i hope to change the pads and rotors as well as the rear wheel bearings. They clunk a bit to much.
Then after getting all the oil leaks fixed in the engine/ gearbox/ diff, i plan to grind out the rust and respray it in its original silver, bolt on some 15inch BBS and have the twin exhaust fitted.
Somewhere in between all that i have to find some rear seats!

alternator bush is the little rubber thing that the bolts go through to hold the alternator to the mount. its like a little vibration damper also for the alternator

Still plenty of work to be done, i have to figure out what to do with the engine, rebuild the 2.3 or upgrade to the 2.5? Also would like to find some 15inch wheels.

Any Sydney owners want to go for a cruz one day?

Nice end pipes on the exhaust there! What diameter are they and did you just weld them onto the existing mufflers?

Cheers
