Hello,new here,my 318

Hi,
My name is Thomas, i'm a belgian student,i own a e21 318 from 1980.
I've been driving it for 6 months now. I really love this car, so now i try not to use it to much, with the winter coming up. I bought the car from the grandfather of a friend, he was the first owner and the car only had about 101 000km when i bought it. Since i bought it only the alternator broke, so that has been replaced, i don't know (knew) much about servicing a car, but i've been reading a lot on the internet( here and on the former dutch forum), so i replaced the alternator myself

(with some help

). The oil,sparkplugs?,filters are also renewed.
Nice forum by the way, i've been reading here for some time now.

i will post some more pics later but there the only ones on this computer.
The car has a few bumps and bruises(can't see them very well on those pics) but that's normal for a car that age i guess.

Thanks, yes, i was registered there as well, btw why doesn't it exist anymore?

It s looked immalulate.Your car is from 1980,I dont know is it 318i or 318 with Solex and 98 HP or 316 1.8?

Thanks,it's a 318 with solex and 98HP.
I believe 1980 was the last year the 318 was produced.
