The car really looks great. Thanks for the pics... they make up for you not being at the meet and I'm waiting for the 'after' pics of the engine bay now!
Good looking car
Do you know if the boot rubber is 'glued' in place, or if you can just place it without doing anything else. I need to replace it too, and the old one is attached with glue / putty. Not sure if that's necessary.

Yep, it's glued originally and that's the best way of preventing leaks and excessive wear. Better use some tape to cover the outer sides and make sure it's glued thoroughly on the outside (outer line) otherwise water will come underneath and cause leaks and rust.
I always use Bison Tix and that works great. Just remove excessive old glue and use a degreaser before applying the glue on both the bodywork and the seal... wait for 10 mins and fit carefully, remove the tape as well as spilled glue immediately.
Engine was clean....
Untill my wife decided to take the small roads to do some shopping.....
Not only the engine room, the whole car covered in mud.... I'll spare you the details....
So this weekend, there's a whole lotta cleanin' goin' on around here....

Very nice car you've got there Blackadder. It still looks great.
I have the same problem with the boot-rubber, have you replaced it yet?
Take some more pics of your car before and after you washed it, i like car when they are dirty .
Ps would you also post a pic of your radio in your glovebox
Things to do: I have another glovebox, and I'm preparing it to hide my radiocables. I bought the radio-unit in a carshop. Fixed it with 4 undeep screws in the glovebox.
There's still some place to store some documents or other things...
