The car really looks great. Thanks for the pics... they make up for you not being at the meet  and I'm waiting for the 'after' pics of the engine bay now! :)

Seems to me you need a new boot-rubber, since it has all perished...

But: great car. The engine-bay looks clean even now.

You mean the rubber in the trunk? Yep, has to be replaced before the winter.

Cleaning the engine will be for next month...
So, have a little patience....

Good looking car
Do you know if the boot rubber is 'glued' in place, or if you can just place it without doing anything else. I need to replace it too, and the old one is attached with glue / putty. Not sure if that's necessary.

Yep, it's glued originally and that's the best way of preventing leaks and excessive wear. Better use some tape to cover the outer sides and make sure it's glued thoroughly on the outside (outer line) otherwise water will come underneath and cause leaks and rust.

I always use Bison Tix and that works great. Just remove excessive old glue and use a degreaser before applying the glue on both the bodywork and the seal... wait for 10 mins and fit carefully, remove the tape as well as spilled glue immediately.

Pic of the radio:

Things to do: I have another glovebox, and I'm preparing it to hide my radiocables. I bought the radio-unit in a carshop. Fixed it with 4 undeep screws in the glovebox.
There's still some place to store some documents or other things...
