New to BMW, New owner

Post by BSDGuyShawn »

Hello all,
I just picked up a project car this weekend. It is my first BMW. It is a 1982 320i (e21).

I bought it with the intention of converting it to an EV as it does not run. The previous owner said it needs a fuel pump and the head had just been rebuilt. After looking at the car and examining it, I am having second thoughts, it really is a beautiful car, regardless of what my wife says ;)

Any input or suggestions are appreciated.

These pictures are from the PO. I have not taken any as of yet.

I have never seen one without bumpers, I wonder if that is legal. Would I have to fill any holes in the body afterword or? Pics would be appreciated.

By EV I mean Electric Vehicle.

I know once I started looking the car over and sitting in it I had a change of heart. I think I am going to convert my cavalier.
