New E21

Post by E »

Hey,

Totally new to this forum. I was basically just given an e21 320i with 100k. Wanting to do a couple things to the car, (suspens, brakes, wheels tires, muffler/exhaust). Just wondering where you think I should start.

Pretty nice! You can really have a picknick on those US-bumpers! By the way, do all US models have 5spd gearboxes?

hey e, niki has a seeeeerious point, not tha i havent noticed but the bit about a picknick, all you need is some folding chairs and sit in front of the bumper for a meal, who needs folding tables when you have your very own trusted E21!!! i bet you can even balance a can of coke cola whilst driving and not even worry if it falls cos the plain space on top is big, or even use it when cutting wood , put a plank and get the jigsaw cutter and way you go.... i know hows about invite a family for a BBQ, cousins aunt, parents, inlaws and even neighbours.. lots of room for the front and rear bumpers    those bumpers are humunnnngas i mean there proper "in your eye" get rid of them and go euro, you feel better driving it, also more miles per gallon as the power to weight ratio goes.... you understand what i mean.... nice..... were just joking mate!! hope you want to take those tables (bumpers) off

Here in Canada big bumpers are quite the status symbol! No, I hear ya, they are huge, and hopefully will be off soon...

Haha, with all that wildlife hopping around, you need a big bimper you mean? :D By the way, that rear license plate...is that also standard for North American models? Well...at least you could flip it up, so you have a nice cupholder for your picknick
