the desert rat

Post by M15KYY »

ladies and gents these are the long awaited pictures of the desert rat, ha ha right the story is i bought the car off a friend for 150 quid, needed a bit of welding to the footwells jacking points and sill's, ( all sorted now tho) with a little help from thetomc ;) cheers dude, your plate making is legendary! did a bit of smoothing to the boot (still needs finishing really) painted the grilles black and then fitted on the zender front bumper, before anyone starts picking holes in the car its going rat look so feel free ha ha oo yes have some brand new calipers pads and discs for the front as the original ones looked like they had spent the past 30 years on the sea bed, ( they were also seized to shit), cut the springs a little bit and the diff now sits 40mm off the floor ha ha. i apologise to all the purists out there but i wanted to do something different so play nice! :D hope you enjoy the pics!
only a select few know of the black magic going on behind the blue garage door, the only thing im gonna say is m60b30..... mwah ha ha ha

With the greatest respect, I think it looks absolutely disgusting! But, it's your car and everyone has their own taste so congrats on being being your own man!

lol very politely put mr arshad but i think we'll have to agree to disagree ;-) lol cut out 5 coils on the rear and 2 on the front and also a bit of bump stop lol, it does drive lol really well suprisingly! Ha ha ha opinions welcome, if you wish to slag it off please adopt the approach mr arshad has and do it respectfully
