not sure about adjusting shock heights, but there are definitely shocks out there which you can adjust hardness. i'm running a spax psx kit, which rrp at around the £400 mark. the ride, even on the softest setting, is quite firm, but it's still a comfortable ride. transforms the feel of the car.Ørjan^^ wrote:Does this exist? Drgonzo, Ross's were originally fitted to my 316. If you wanted my opinion also, I loved them. I never noticed them being overly harsh, something they are often criticised about. Easily the most transforming part of my car. But I paid £250 secondhand (Ross paid £250 and I fitted them for him, I only got a few months road use out of them!), which is a much more acceptable price than £380-400. But put it this way, Bilstien shocks are around £120 for just one front shock (not sure about rears), but for about £380 you get a whole set of adjustable shocks and nice stiff springs.

hi drgonzopow, sorry about late reply mate...forgot about this thread!!DrGonzoPOW wrote:How are you finding those Spax shocks Ross ? They worth the money ?
the kit has transformed the cars handling completely. the ride is a lot firmer, but not uncomfortable. you feel all the bumps but it doesn't crash about etc. great kit, and -60mm drop isn't too far. still able to get a jack under their no issues at all. i just need to get these bloody bbs wheels on there now so even less understeer with wider tyres!!
the car still has some roll, but it is sooooo much flatter in corners than it was, it will be better with the 15inch wheels, and a rear anti roll bar...but for £250 they are well worth it. hope this helps
Ross.
