Looks awesome Jason!!! :D

It looks great in ascotgrau!! - and I positively love those alloys and the BMW Motorsport frontspoiler... the negative camber at the front is really cool too...

Like Jeroen, I too would like to see some interior pics...

And like rasb1, I also think it would improve the rear-end looks drastically if you got the no. plate moved down below the bumper and also removed the rear side reflectors.

Stunning E21 mate!! You should be proud... 8)

Btw, how the hell did you manage to stage those lightning BMW pics...??

alright, I'll try & get some interior shots uploaded later today :D

as for the lightning picture....that took a little bit of waiting, patience, & occasional cursing @ missed lightning  . Because of the relative bright lighting from nearby street lamps, 5-second exposures on the digital camera was used. We really only got 2 good lightning pics (the small one in my signature & the one that was posted) out of the +95 exposures we ended up taking that night  .

I'm hoping to get some more lightning pictures taken as soon as monsoon season starts (hopefully this weekend)

And I'll definately try & get some fun video up when the engine is finished...my friend makes & edits short car videos online: www.tompowered.com

To be honest I don't think modern Sparco seats match BMW E21. You better find a nice set of recaro's. But that's just me :D

yeah, i totally agree....I originally wanted to get a nice set of E21 Recaro's (or something very similar in design). But my friend sold me these Sparcos for dirt cheap and I wanted to get a better seat for track-days & autocrossing.
IMO, they hold me in better than the E21 Recaro's, and those shoulder supports actually help when taking hard turns. My only compaint is that my kidneys feel a little sore after a drive  (the nearly solid engine dampener & urethane transmission mount don't help since they cause the whole car to vibrate)

Great looking car! Like the modifications and the Euro bumpers.

24 years of good times, too.

Even with the sparco seats it looks very impressive, some black interior would make those seats look much better.

yeah, I want to make the interior a two-tone black & parchment (light-tan). I'm undecided on what I want to do w/ the rear seats: possibly find a black vinyl or cloth to try & match the Sparco's; or take out the rear seats, build a custom cover w/ black cloth, and put in at least a roll-bar (or a full cage).

I'm leaning towards the later because I would love to take this car out on the track more often, but I also like having a mostly stock appearance.

A roll cage would spoil the lovely handling characteristic of the car, a rear strut would suit you better if you plan on keeping the car as a road driver as well. As for the rear seats, it sounds like just re-trimming the cloth would be best and easiest hehe.

  - thats gold! Theres definitely something about Hondas that always arouse the ire of BMW pointy-heads. I'm the same, I had a Prelude once and b-Geez I couldn't stand it! Hondas seem to be the arch antithesis of BMWs, and you hear so many of Bimmer fans whining about them. Anyone else have any other HONDA acronyms? :)

But, I thought the red lights at the back of jbob's e21 were US spec? Are they not?

BTW - a very nice e21 jbob! Great colour, great condition, and a nice interior. Congratulations! 8)
Cheers

mbuus, i think that's what i'm going to do for now. it does indeed seem to be the better & easiest way to go.

Honda's arn't that bad....well, I'm only thinking about the NSX, S2000 (don't really like the looks that much, but it's a nice car to drive), and an integra type-r (probably the only FWD car i'd ever consider getting).
I've got a couple friends who own Hondas, but they don't rice them out like most Honda owners seem to do (if one of my friends did, i'd have to kick their ass, )
lol, btw, have you seen this article before: http://www.autospies.com/article/index. ... tegoryId=7
makes you that much more proud to own a BMW, haha.

the tail-lights on this car arn't all red....still has clear/white reverse, red brakes, & amber/orange turn signals. that pic of the rear looks deceiving because of the low-light & orange sunset in the background.
