Looks like you got a good E21 to start with mate!
What are your plans with it/her?

Nice! Let me know if you want to convert to twin headlights as I'll do a swap for your singles. In fact that goes for anyone. :)

A quick mop should have that paint looking pretty good. Interior looks pretty tidy too. 8)

Which carb is it? If it's a Solex you'd be better off spending your cash on a Weber replacement.

I don't think so.

Might be worth just giving the old carb a good blasting with carb' cleaner and an airline. With a bit of cleaning and some luck it might be OK till something better comes along.

Yeah i know what you mean. I wish you could have been with us that day. I have seen alot of cars that customers want me to get running that have been sitting for a while but this one .... The smell of rotten fuel when you turned it over was amazing! I once gave rebirth to a 64 volvo b122s with 21,000 original and dual solex's that had been sitting for 6 years and even that didnt smell like this. I know the car will need new filters and all that but as he is learning I am trying not to confuse him with ifs and maybes. It is easier to just say it needs to be rebuilt and i can teach him how its done. from his point of veiw...the more i can show him the happier he is. 8) I will be taking pics of him at work as we get going. You wouldnt beleive how chuffed he is that you lot are talking to him. THANKS!! 8) 8) :D
