Can i ask how much these cost please? I think the brakes on the E21 are pretty rubbish and an upgrade is in order!

First off, I suggest you try grippier pads on your e21, you can be surprised. The original calipers are not bad at all. In fact the Porsche 914 crowd uses them as an upgrade. Rotors though are the weak point. Too small and not much cooling.

Front kit is $1199.00usd + $85usd for pads.
Calipers are extra stiff Superlite race calipers with 1.38" stainless steel pistons. Discs uses stainless drive-pins for floating.

I'll rephrase that a little, my brakes work fine for a couple of hard stops then heatsoak sets in and they are useless. The calipers seem pretty good, but grip the disk too hard and lock up pretty easy.

I've printed your template so will check these fit under Alpina 15s...

i have the aluminium brembo calipers on my car which came from the Alfa GTV6 and are hard to get and since ive overhauled them with new seals e.t.c. the braking is sharp and calipers being lighter it feels much better over the standard 2 tonne 323i caliper, but i also have the wilwood calipers to fit on my car soon and discarding take my brembos...

I replied to your email. Also, let me know what size of pistons are in your front Superlite calipers. They are available in 1.12" -, 1.25" - 1.38" - 1.63" and 1.75" and you already know they should be properly sized for your application if you want to keep brake balance between front and rear. The front lock-up might therefore be a problem with piston sizing. And it will reduce the overall efficiency of your brakes as the rear end doesn't work as much as it should.
